Green Bay Packers Offense- Ready for another Championship Run
Aaron Rodgers is developing into an elite NFL Quarterback who has brought Packer fans to forget the Brett Favre as he leads one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL. The Green Bay Packers Offense is loaded with offensive weapons, especially at quarterback and wide receiver.
Super Bowl MVP, Aaron Rodgers passed for 3,922 yards, 28 touchdowns and had 12 interceptions last season. Rodgers also had 356 yards rushing and 4 rushing TD's. The only downside was the 31 sacks he endured.
Rodgers was phenomenal throughout the NFC Playoffs and the Super Bowl. Look for Rodgers to only improve and lead his team to the NFC North Title and another shot at the Super Bowl.
The return of Ryan Grant at running back and the emergence of rookie running back James Starks in last year’s playoffs will give the team a balanced offense. Grant was lost in the first NFL game of last season and the Packers struggled with the lack of a running threat. James Starks emerged as a force in the running game in the NFC playoffs and will be a big part of the running attack in the 2011 season. Look for a 2 man rotation throughout the season.
Greg Jennings and Donald Driver lead the wide receiver position. Jennings is the deep threat with exceptional speed down field and the veteran Driver has exceptional hands and is great at route runs and can still get down the field for a big play.
Wide-outs Jordy Nelson and James Jones are capable receivers who can make plays. These two came up with big plays in the playoffs and now add depth to a loaded team.
Jermichael Finley has developed into a top tier Tight End player. He is a big and very athletic player. His injury last season hurt the team for a while, but the Packers added depth to the position by drafting DJ Williams from Arkansas.
The Packers offense will keep defensive coordinators up at nights trying to scheme how to slow this team down.
Green Bay has the largest offensive line by size. Howard Green, BJ Raji and Ryan Pickett lead the way coming in over a thousand pounds.
Packers Defensive Stats
Clay Matthews- 14 sacks
Tramon WIlliams 6 int's

Rush Defense-18th 114.9
Green Bay Packers Defense- Can the Defense play like they did in the NFL Playoffs
The 2010 Packers defense finished statistically ranked 5th in the NFL Football league last season. The Packers will have more depth this season, but must be able to make up for the loss of defensive end Cullen Jenkins via free agency.
Green Bay has the largest offensive line by size. Howard Green, BJ Raji and Ryan Pickett lead the way coming in over a thousand pounds. The D-Line is tough to run against inside, but the line needs to find a way to prevent the outside runs.
Clay Matthews led the team with 14 sacks last season. Cullen Jenkins was lost in free agency and his ability to rush the passer will be missed. CJ Wilson and Mike Neal will need to fill the gap at defensive end and may split playing time.
The secondary, which was a weak link, emerged as a force in the playoffs. Tramon Williams and rookie Sam Shields made huge plays to help the Packers make and win the Super Bowl. Morgan Burnett appears to have moved into one of the starting cornerback slots alongside Charles Woodson. With Nick Collins added in the mix, the Packers have developed a very respectable secondary.
The rush defense came together in the playoffs and should be able to carry over into the 2011-2012 football season.
Green Bay Packers Team Prediction
The Green Bay Packers will in the NFC North Division Title and be the favorite for the NFC Championship in 2011-2012. To accomplish these goals the Packers will need to avoid the Super Bowl let-down and avoid another season filled with injuries like last season. The Packers will be everyone’s target this year, making a repeat even harder. The Packers are loaded at all positions and should be up to the challenge.
The NFC North Division will go through a change this year. The Green Bay Packers will dominate the division on their way to a NFC North title. The Chicago Bears will not win the division, but will be improved on offense.
The Detroit Lions will not finish in last place. The Lions have added to their defense and will make noise in the NFC North division. If Matt Stafford can stay healthy a full season, the Lions may push the Bears for second place. Donovan McNabb will not save the Minnesota Vikings from falling even further this year. The Vikings may have Adrian Peterson in the backfield, but this year is going through changes and will struggle this season.
The NFC North will be a two-team race for second place. Look for the Packers to easily win the division and the second place team having a shot at a playoff berth.

Awesome Hub! You even included Wisconsin cheese graphics!
The Packer fans are unique in the world!
Fascinating fact - Packers have no cheerleaders yet they are the most active team in the league with the greatest number of loyalist - rightfully so! And yes, one of my homes is in Green Bay, Wisconsin - love the people, love the sport!
The cheese head is a loving tribute - slightly slanted but always in good fun. You are correct - the late 1980's - you know Wisconsin well! Kudos on writing, graphics and history!
